The Uzbekistan e-Visa is an online visa introduced on 15 July 2018 by the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan
The electronic visa system is designed to streamline the Uzbekistan visa acquisition process as the entire process is performed online.
Travelers can choose from three types of Uzbekistan e-Visas. Single entry, dual entry and multiple entry online visas.
Regardless of the type selected, the Uzbekistan e-Visa is valid for 90 days (3 months) from the date of issue and allows its holder to stay in Uzbekistan for a total of 30 days.
The e-Visa system allows all eligible citizens to obtain an Uzbekistan visa online in 3 easy steps.

All travelers can choose one of the following types of Uzbekistan e-Visa:
- Single e-Visa: Allows you to stay in Uzbekistan for 30 days.

If your country is not listed above you have to apply for a regular visa at an Uzbekistan Embassy.
Apply for an e-Visa online at least 72 hours before departure to Uzbekistan.
Once you choose the type of e-Visa you want and have prepared the required documents as described in the Required Documents section, use the panel on the left to select your purpose of travel.

To apply and obtain your entry visa quickly, please follow these steps:
- Enter your details carefully in the online visa application form. Fill out the form with your name, address, passport data, email address and any other required information. make sure everything is accurate
- Pay your evisa fee and check your inbox for the confirmation number.
- Approved evisa will be sent to your email address in PDF format.
All three Uzbekistan visas are valid for 90 days (3 months) from the issuance date. Please ensure to enter Uzbekistan within 90 days of its validity and properly leave the country before your e-Visa expires.
If you want to stay in Uzbekistan for 30 days, you must enter Uzbekistan around 60 days before your online visa expires and stay one month before your permit expires.
Caution! All persons entering Uzbekistan must have a valid travel document – a passport. Passport validity will not expire at least six months from the intended date of entry.
If you are traveling to another country via Uzbekistan, you must first apply for an e-Visa
The best option is to enter Uzbekistan twice with a double entry permit valid for 90 days. For the first time on the way to the destination country, the next time you return home you have to cross the border again.

The rules for entering Uzbekistan are simple. All travelers must carry two significant documents. Make sure you have the following documents when you arrive in Uzbekistan:
- A valid passport.

Required Documents for E-visa Uzbekistan

Important Information
- The applicant’s passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the expected date of arrival in Uzbekistan.
- Each traveler wishing to visit Uzbekistan must obtain an individual e-Visa.
- If you need to transit through Uzbekistan, you need an e-Visa.
- Customs officers will ensure that each traveler has a printed copy of the e-Visa and a valid passport.
- The Uzbekistan online visa expires 90 days from the date of issue.
- Electronic visa holders cannot engage in business activities.

Uzbekistan e-Visa FAQs
