UK e-Visa: Basic information
UK e-Visa is an online electronic denial visa for nationals of Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates that allows you to enter the UK for sightseeing, trade, transportation or medical purposes.
In 2014, UK e-visas were introduced to speed up visa processing in the four countries involved. Travelers can now get a UK e-Visa completely online by following a simple 3-step application process.The eVisa waiver is issued as a single travel certificate and allows you to stay in the UK for up to 6 months. Also, UK e-visas are valid for up to 6 months.
Important! The UK Government has plans to launch an electronic entry permit as a necessary document for non-visa citizens, including EU citizens.
ETA UK will pre-screen travelers and make them available online to mitigate potential threats to the country.
Currently, all visitors entering the UK (including those who can enter the UK without a visa) are required to fill out a passenger tracking form within 48 hours of their intended visit to the UK.
This form was introduced in the context of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and is mandatory for travelers entering the UK by air, road or sea. This form provides the UK authorities with the information they need. You can use this information to contact us if the traveler is in quarantine or if the traveler is showing symptoms of Covid-19. Confirmation information to fill out the passenger tracker form (in the form of a QR code) will be emailed to each passenger and must be printed or saved on your mobile for presentation at airport immigration.

Passenger Tracker Form
Each traveler must fill out this form and bring it with them for presentation to customs officers upon arrival.
Note! Underage passengers (under the age of 18) do not have to fill out the passenger search form themselves. However, you need to travel with them as an adult.

To apply for electronic entry without a visa (eVisa), you need the following:
- Valid passport
- More information about traveling to the UK (including arrival and departure dates)
- Address of place to live in the UK

Important Information
- Only four countries (Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and United Arab Emirates) can apply for an e-visa under the e-Visa Waiver Program.
- Travel information (departure date, arrival date, address to stay in the UK) must be up to date on your online visa application.
- If you have an e-visa, you can stay in the UK for up to 6 months.
- If you are not eligible for the EVW program and are not a citizen of a country without a visa, you will need to apply for a standard guest visa.
- The UK visa can be processed online in just 72 hours (3 business days) and the approval documents will be emailed to the applicant.
- During (Covid-19) pandemic era, travelers visiting the UK must have some form of passenger locator (although they can enter the UK without a visa).
- Minors do not need to fill out the Passenger Locator Form (but must be on the Adult Travel Form).
- The passenger tracker form is not a substitute for an electronic visa.
- All applicants must have a valid passport that does not expire within 6 months of the expected date of entry into the UK.
