Qatar eVisa is a simple online eVisa for all travelers once the fast and intuitive online application process is completed. Qatar introduced an electronic visa system in 2017 to promote foreign tourist visas.
Qatar e-visas are available in hundreds of countries around the world. In addition, the online visa application process can be completed in minutes from home and the approved visa will be sent to the applicant’s email address in PDF format to complete the process.
Nationals of each eligible country can now apply online and get an e-visa within 5 working days.
The Qatar online tourist visa acts as a one-time entry permit, allowing the owner to stay in Qatar for up to 30 days with a guaranteed 30-day valid period. The only exception is an online transit visa that is valid for 4 days (96 hours).
Potential tourists from the Middle East can apply for four types of Qatar e-visas, depending on nationality and purpose of visit.
To enter Qatar, all visitors must have a valid passport and an approved online visa printout.
Regardless of the type of visa you are eligible for, you must print a Qatar e-Visa and bring it with you to the airport. There are four different types of electronic visas in Qatar and the nationality of the applicant determines which of them the traveler can apply for. these are
ETA: Electronic Travel Authorization. The permit is intended for those who do not have the right to enter Qatar without a visa, but have a valid residence permit or visa to visit one of the following countries: Australia, Canada, and USA, New Zealand or any of the following Schengen countries.
It serves as a one-time entry permit and allows its holder to stay in Qatar for 30 days.You need to pay the service fee.
Caution! It is assumed that you do not have a valid residence permit or guest visa for the listed countries. In this case, you can apply for an online tourist visa (Qatar e-Visa) if your country is listed as eligible for a Qatar e-Visa. (See Eligible Country List section.)
- Online Tourist Visa: The online tourist visa is for citizens of countries that are not eligible for ETA and cannot enter without a visa. The Qatar e-Visa is a one-time entry permit that allows you to stay in Qatar for 30 days. The 30-day validity begins on the arrival date.
- Transit visa: intended for travelers from all countries of the world transiting through Qatar. One must stay at minimum 5 hours after arrival to be eligible for entry permit Valid for 96 hours (4 days).
- GCC Resident Visa: This is a one-time entry permit that allows to stay in Qatar for 30 days (or to extend the visa for the next 3 months). Designed for all GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) residents.
Citizens of the Gulf States can enter Qatar without a visa.

Required Documents for E-visa to Qatar
Tourist visas:

Important Information
- Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry.
- Any traveler can stay in Qatar for 30 days with an e-visa.
- Holders of two of these tourist visas (ETA and GCC residency visas) can continue their stay. 30 days for ETA holders and 90 days for Gulf residents (three months)
- Qatar eVisa must be printed out and taken to the airport (regardless of the type).
- Qatar online visa can only be used for tourism purpose
- A tourist e-Visa is neither a work permit nor an immigration permit.
- Applicants can use any international airport to visit Qatar.
