There is one type of e-visa in East Africa. This will allow you to travel between and within Uganda Kenya, Rwanda, and for sightseeing purposes. Electronic visas have the following features:

• Travel to Uganda, Rwanda and Kenya is permitted.
• It can only be used for sightseeing in Rwanda and Kenya (including family visits). Electronic visas can be used for tourism and business activities in Uganda (signing contracts, conferences).
• This is multiple entry permits
• Valid for 90 days from the scheduled entry date.

While some countries offer great choice of countries to participate in the eVisa program, East African tourist visas are available to peoples of all nationalities.

The only obligation is that you can present your passport and other supplementary documents.Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your expected entry date.

Caution! You must apply at least 3 days before your trip.

Most applicants approved with no delay but average processing time is 6 day. Approved visa will be sent in the PDF format to the provided email address with a validity of 90days.

With an East African tourist visa, you can travel for 90 days from the date of entry. On the other hand, it allows multiple entries. This means that you can enter and leave Uganda and Rwanda as many times as you like while your online visa is valid, and you are free to travel between the three countries.

Please note that East African eVisas are valid from the date of entry (the date specified in the application), not the date of issue.

Important! Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival for your application to be approved.

Important! Any change in information in your passport will invalidate the evisa.

Travelers passing through Uganda, Rwanda, or Kenya on their way to other destinations do not need an e-visa unless they plan to leave the designated transit area of ​​the airport.

Those planning to leave the transit zone will need a transit entry permit. This type of visa must be gained at the airport and not online. Contact your destination airport airline and customs for more information.

• Valid passport (does not expire for at least 6 months from the date of entry)

* East Africa Tourist e-Visa allows you to travel to Rwanda, Uganda and Kenya. However, you can only enter from the country where you first approved your e-visa.
