Colombia Check-MIG Form: Basic Information
The Colombia Check-MIG Form is a new mandatory document that every tourist entering or leaving Colombia must have.
This document was created to create a harmless environment for international travelers and border authorities as it is important to minimize unnecessary exposure during a pandemic of COVID-19.
The form must be finished online within 24 hours of each passenger crossing the Colombian border and 1 hour before departure.
Colombian Check-MIG agree to one time entry into Colombia, so you will need to fill out a new form both when you enter and when you return. The approved Check-MIG is valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
Travelers wishing to visit Colombia must complete a three-step online application to receive an approved Colombian Check-MIG visa by email.
Important! Check-MIG is not a Colombian visa. If a traveler arrives from a country that requires a visa to cross the border into Colombia, they will need two documents (visa and Check-MIG form) to be confirmed by customs upon arrival.
If you can enter Colombia without a visa, you will still need the Check-MIG form.
All countries are eligible to the Columbia Check-MIG Form and residents of all countries are required to carry this document with them when crossing the border into Colombia.

Check-MIG is a must-have document for anyone entering Colombia during the COVID-19. This document is required even if you are eligible to enter Colombia without a visa.

Required documents for Check-MIG
The required documents that need to be collected for this document are correlated to your travel and health details.

Important Information
- After entering Colombia, the PCR test results for COVID-19 are no longer required.
- If you are using this site to process Check-MIG, you do not need to go to the embassy.
