The Armenia e-Visa is a single-entry electronic visa that allows its holders to stay in Armenia for either 21 or even 120 days. The Armenian Government has introduced the system of e-Visas to make the visa handling process as simple as possible for visitors from 70 eligible countries.
If one needs to undergo medical treatment in Armenia, handle their business affairs, visit their friends and family, or simply go on vacation, Armenia e-Visa will enable them to do all of that and so much more!
The Armenia e-Visa is available under two types, both are single-entry travel authorizations; however, one allows a 21-day trip, while the second allows a stay of 120 days. The first Armenia e-Visa stays valid for 90 days and the second stays effective for 180 days.
There are two types of Armenian e-visas, both of which are one-time entry, one with a 21-day trip and the other with a 120-day trip. The first Armenian electronic visa is valid for 90 days and the second is valid for 180 days.
Travelers need to make sure they have a valid passport and start the application process on an internet-connected mobile phone, laptop, PC, or tablet. Second, each traveler must follow three simple steps to complete the application process. Fill out the application form, pay the issuance fee and wait for approval.
Online requests must be submitted at least 3 business days before departure, as processing time can take up to 72 hours. Approved documents will be emailed to each applicant.
Important! Armenian e-visa holders can only enter through certain border crossings.
The Republic of Armenia, electronic visa is of two types. The difference between the two types of online visas is the length of stay allowed.
Passengers can choose one of the following:
- 21-day one-time entry visa. This is a 90-day (3 months) short-term online visa.
- 120-day single entry visa as an online long-term visa, valid for 180 days (6 months)

The applicant’s passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival in Armenia.
Citizens of eligible countries can have an e-visa to visit Armenia for 21 or 120 days. Validity also depends on the type of Armenian visa.
- A 21-day visitor visa is valid for 90 days (3 months) from issuance
- A 120-day visitor visa is valid for 180 days (6 months) from the date of issue.
Armenia e-visas can be extended for up to 60 days. To extend your Armenian visa online, please visit the Armenian passport and visa department.
Do not prolong your stay without permit to avoid problems.
If you are a traveler who requires a visa that requires you to travel to another country via Armenia, you do not need a transit visa unless your stay in Armenia exceeds 48 hours.
