Regardless of nationality, Turkish online visas are issued only for tourism or business purposes. A traditional embassy visa is required for all other travel reasons, including working for a Turkish company.

Another feature common to all types of e-visas is that each applicant must have a valid passport for at least 6 months from the date of arrival in Turkey.

Citizens can stay in Turkey for up to 90 days for a 180-day e-Visa validity period.

Apply at least 3 days before departure to get the required entry permit in a timely manner.

• Pay online using a debit card, credit card, or other online payment method. A confirmation email and application number will be sent to your inbox.

After submitting the application, a team of Turkish e-Visa experts will review the application to ensure that the information contained in the application is complete and correct and that the correct documents are attached.

The entire application review and approval process can take up to 3 business days and an average wait time of 19 hours.

Approved Turkish online visas will be sent to the email address provided on the application form. Print out the permission you received and give it to the responsible employee requesting it.

Passengers entering Turkey for transit purposes do not need an e-visa. A passport is the only travel document required to stay in the transit area of ​​a Turkish airport while waiting for a connecting flight.

Travelers leaving the airport transit area must apply for an e-visa in advance and bring this document with them when entering Turkey. For more information on how to obtain this entry permit, please refer to the “Turkey e-Visa Application Form” above.

All online visa holders in Turkey are required to present two documents upon entry.
